Gold Hill Mine Workings and the Gold Hill Historic Park

Gold Hill Historic Park is located on land that was once part of the Gold Hill Mine and Gold Hill Copper Mining Company holdings. The park is administered by the Historic Gold Hill and Mines Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization established in 1992 whose purpose is to "attain, restore, maintain, and preserve the mining town of Gold Hill and the mines for the continuation and perpetuation of the tradition upon which the town and surrounding area was established". The park includes several shafts (including the Barnhardt and Randolph shafts), historic structures, historic mining equipment, and extensive underground workings.
